General Features: Its core has a light red color and darkens when it comes into contact with the air. The sapwood is white-yellow.
Physical Properties: It is a very hard wood, very stable in calculus, very elastic and it is very difficult to work. It resists weather conditions and is resistant to fungal and insect attack. It is characterized by alternating rotational growth thus creating internal cracks.
